Sustainable, community-centered solutions.
We empower women, youth and children across rural and urban communities in Nigeria through health, education, advocacy and protection programs — building the social fabric that lets communities lead their own recovery.
Empowering underserved communities across Nigeria.
Enike Adama Initiative (EAI) is a non-profit organization working to improve life for underserved communities across Nigeria. Our model rests on sustainable development, community empowerment, advocacy and sensitization — training people, opening access to resources, and helping build more vibrant communities with more accountable leadership.
We work alongside women, youth and children in both rural and urban settings, treating every program as an investment in the people who will carry the work forward long after we've left the room.
Empower. Educate. Develop.
To empower, educate and develop women, youth and children in rural and urban Nigerian communities — helping build the educational fabric and social infrastructure of communities facing hardship, and bringing hope where there is despair.
"To improve quality of life for women, children and youth through advocacy, sensitization and social empowerment programs."
A future built on four rights.
Shaping a future where everyone has a right to Survival, Protection, Development, and Participation — regardless of where in Nigeria they were born.

Strengthening child protection in Gyel, Plateau State.
EAI provided technical support to SOS Children's Villages Nigeria for a two-day capacity-building training and formal inauguration of a Community Child Protection Committee (CCPC), under the EU-supported Strengthening Childcare and Protection Systems Nigeria project. Members left equipped to recognize risk, follow safeguarding standards, and route cases through the correct referral pathway — with signed codes of conduct and a six-month workplan to carry the work forward.
Safeguarding & transparency
Working with women, youth and children means our accountability to them comes first. This is what we ask visitors, partners and donors to be able to check.
Zero tolerance for harm
EAI operates a child- and adult-safeguarding policy covering staff, volunteers and partners on every program, with a confidential channel for reporting concerns and a named safeguarding focal point at each field office. No program participant is ever required to pay, or provide anything in return, to access our services.
Registered, audited, accountable
EAI is registered with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC/IT/NO 79052, since July 2015) and governed by a board that meets regularly to review programs and finances. Annual accounts are independently reviewed; a summary is available to partners and donors on request.
